Pakistan, Kuwait FMs Express Concern Over Escalating Regional Situation

Islamabad (TDI): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister of Kuwait, to discuss the rapidly evolving situation in the region.

During the call, both leaders voiced serious concern over the escalating US-Israel-Iran war, and attacks reported in Kuwait.

Dar conveyed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the Kuwaiti leadership and its people during this challenging time.

He stressed the importance of restraint and underlined the urgent need for dialogue and diplomatic engagement to ease tensions and maintain peace and stability across the region.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on issues currently being discussed at the United Nations Security Council.

They reaffirmed the long-standing and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and agreed to remain in close contact regarding regional developments.
