Islamabad, 18 August 2021 (TDI): Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office stated, on 16 August 2021, that it is crucial that the Afghan leaders join hands and work together in this situation of uncertainty. Only these efforts will pave a way for them in this difficult situation and to ensure peace and stability in Afghanistan. Furthermore, he went on to explain that Pakistan is ready to play a constructive role in promoting peace and security in Afghanistan. The Spokesperson also added that it should be a shared responsibility of the international community to promote harmony in Afghanistan and every nation must act upon it.
