Islamabad, 25 July 2022 (TDI): German Embassy in Pakistan, in a tweet, shared that Pakistan and Germany will mutually organize an event “the Future Summit 2022” in September in Berlin.

About Future Summit

Pakistan Future Summit (also known as Pakistan Tech Summit) is a series of conferences organized globally. It aims to connect emerging leaders of Pakistan with leaders of the world.

The summit has been conducted many times before. In September 2019, it was conducted in Oslo, Norway.

In February 2021, it was conducted in Silicon Valley in the United States of America (USA). Moreover, it was conducted in Toronto, Canada in June 2021 as well. The 6th edition of the Future Summit will be hosted in Berlin, Germany this year between 1 to 7 September.

Additionally, it is expected that a delegation of more than 100 people including technology experts, entrepreneurs, and public and corporate sector leaders will be attending the event.h

The future summit will be a half-day business-to-business (B2B) event. Along with it, delegations will have the opportunity to attend other events including International Fiscal Association IFA in Berlin and the PIRATE summit.

IFA provides an opportunity for buyers, key retailers, and experts from the industry and the media to meet and connect. It will take place from 2-6 September 2022.

Additionally, the PIRATE summit is a conference particularly for entrepreneurs to exchange their ideas with each other. It will take place on 6-7 September.

Pak-Germany Collaborations

Pakistan and Germany collaborate through various programs to enhance cooperation. The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Pakistan is a German-led initiative to promote technical education and skills in Pakistan.

Moreover, in 2021, Pakistan’s Minister for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication, Amin ul Haque met with Bernhard Schlagheck, German Ambassador to Pakistan. They agreed to enhance cooperation in the IT and telecommunication sector.
