Beirut, 26 February 2024 (TDI): On February 23, the Pakistan Embassy in Beirut, in collaboration with the Lebanese Businessmen Federation, IRADA, organized a comprehensive briefing session for businessmen and investors.

In a strategic move, economic cooperation and bilateral trade relations are being enhanced with the Lebanese Businessmen Federation.

The session aimed to enlighten participants about the burgeoning trade and investment opportunities within Pakistan and the sectors ripe for substantial growth.

Previous initiative

Earlier, on January 11, 2023, the Embassy of Pakistan in Beirut hosted a seminal economic seminar titled “Pakistan: Trade and Investments Opportunities.”

This event garnered significant participation from Lebanese businessmen and investors keen on exploring avenues of collaboration with Pakistan.

Noteworthy attendees included representatives from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Ministry of Commerce Pakistan, who contributed insights remotely via Zoom.

Moreover, Mr. Salman Athar, Ambassador of Pakistan to Lebanon, set the tone with an illuminating discourse on Pakistan’s trade and investment potential.

He underscored the forthcoming 2nd edition of the “Engineering and Healthcare Show” in Lahore, organized by TDAP, as a pivotal opportunity for global entrepreneurs.

Recent collaboration: briefing session for investors

Building upon the success of the previous seminar, the Pakistan Embassy, in collaboration with the Lebanese Businessmen Federation IRADA, orchestrated a targeted briefing session tailored for businessmen and investors.

This session delved deeper into specific trade and investment prospects, offering attendees a nuanced understanding of the evolving landscape in Pakistan.
