Pakistan is one of the largest contributors of troops to UN peacekeeping missions worldwide. Denmark brings strong expertise in policy development and training support for peacekeeping operations

Pakistan and Denmark have a long history of collaboration on UN peacekeeping issues. The “Trio for Peacekeeping” initiative with South Korea, launched last year, aimed to enhance the effectiveness and safety of UN peacekeeping operations.

The continuation as a “duo” this year reflects the sustained commitment of both countries to this important agenda. This meeting underscores Pakistan’s active role in multilateral diplomacy and its dedication to global peace and security through the United Nations.

The partnership highlights how countries with different strengths can work together to address pressing challenges in international peace and security. The discussions come at a time when UN peacekeeping missions face increasing demands and complex operational environments.
