Chicago, 20 June 2022 (TDI): The Consulate General of Pakistan in Chicago, Tariq Karim, attended the graduation ceremony of the East-West University. The Chancellor of the University, Dr. M. Wasiullah Khan, welcomed him and he interacted with the faculty and students.

Founded in 1980 under Higher Learning Commission, East-West University is a private university in Chicago, Illinois. Currently, the university offers both bachelors and associate degrees programs.

‘Spider Speaketh in Tongues’ 

Earlier, the Consulate General inaugurated an exhibition exhibiting the work of renowned Pakistani artist Amin Gulgee. Also, the masterpiece attributes to dissolving the divisions of South Asian spirituality of gender and sexuality. Consequently, “the Spider Speaketh in Tongues” is on view from 8 April 2022 till 9 July 2022.

According to the sources, a group of CCC Ladies Club organized the exhibition. the exhibition. In addition, the artist’s work was widely appreciated for its creativity, deep insight, and innovative skills. The exhibition is currently taking place at South Asia Institute.
