Geneva (TDI): At the 151st Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Geneva, Pakistan’s Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik, underscored the country’s unwavering commitment to justice, good governance, and global peace.
As a key representative, he participated in critical discussions and meetings aimed at addressing global security challenges and promoting legislative responses to terrorism and violent extremism.
One of the highlights of his participation was the 19th meeting of the High-level Advisory Group (HLAG) on Countering Terrorism & Violent Extremism.
During this session, Barrister Malik contributed to the conversation on strengthening global cooperation and enhancing legislative measures to combat terrorism and extremism effectively.
His participation was marked by a focus on the importance of the rule of law and the need for collaborative international efforts.
