Beijing (TDI): Pakistan and China have signed thirteen memorandums of understanding (MoUs) valued at $250 million to enhance cooperation in the agriculture and food processing sectors.
The agreements, which focus on joint ventures in animal fodder and the processing of fruits and vegetables, were signed between Pakistani and Chinese companies in Beijing.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, witnessed the signing ceremony.

In his remarks, he underscored the significance of the agriculture and food processing industries to both nations’ economies, emphasizing their strategic importance in further strengthening bilateral trade ties.

Ambassador Hashmi also highlighted the event as a testament to Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to deepen its trade relationship with China, particularly through the promotion of direct business connections and long-term collaborations.
