Beijing (TDI): Pakistan and China have launched a significant collaboration to enhance vocational education in energy-saving and new energy vehicles.
A seminar on developing international teaching resources in this field was recently held at Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University.
The event marked the commencement of an international teaching resource project under the China-Pakistan Digital Education Alliance, attended by nearly 100 government officials and industry leaders from both nations.
Yin Wanjian, President of Hunan Automotive Engineering Vocational University, highlighted that the project will introduce Chinese advancements in new energy vehicle technologies to Pakistan, aligning with the country’s goals for its growing new energy industry.

Mehr Shahid Zaman Lak, Chief Operating Officer of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Punjab, emphasized the importance of this collaboration for Pakistan’s youth.
He stated that the initiative would help them access China’s latest technological developments, enhancing their skills and contributing to the development of both countries.

The seminar also focused on setting international standards, developing curriculum systems, and creating joint workshops to train highly skilled professionals in the field of energy-saving and new energy vehicles in Pakistan.
