Pakistan Embassies in US celebrated Pakistan's Independence Day on Sunday

Washington DC, 14 August 2022 (TDI): The Embassy of Pakistan in the US celebrated 75 years of Independence of Pakistan. Additionally, the Consul Generals and High Commissioners of Pakistan to the US also joined in celebrating its 75th Independence Day.

Embassy of Pakistan in the US

The Embassy of Pakistan in the US hoisted the Pakistani flag outside 3517 International Court NW. The Pakistani community living in America attended the event.

In addition, many officials also joined the celebrations to mark the 75th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Pakistan, at the venue.

The Ambassador of Pakistan, Masood Khan also addressed the occasion. He highlighted 75 years of US-Pakistan relations too. The Ambassador also hoped that Pakistan and US relations would strengthen in the future.

Earlier today, the Ambassador had also congratulated Pakistan on its 75th Independence Day. He reminded Pakistanis of how the land was achieved through great hardships and the sacrifices of Pakistan’s ancestors.

Moreover, he reminded the people of Pakistan to work together to make Pakistan stronger and more prosperous. Accordingly, he said that only in this way we can honor the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s ancestors.

Message by Pakistan’s Commissioner to Los Angeles

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Los Angeles, Amna Qazi also congratulated Pakistan on its 75th Independence Day.

Amna Qazi also highlighted Fatima Jinnah’s quote that Pakistan has a story, a story of social and economic justice. While wishing Pakistan, she also emphasized that Pakistan values its relationship with the US.

Consequently, she expressed hope that the relations between Pakistan and US would continue to grow stronger.

Pakistan Consulate General to Houston

Pakistan’s Consulate General Office in Houston headed by Abrar H. Hashmi also organized a number of events to celebrate Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day. The Consulate General hoisted Pakistan’s flag in Houston, Texas.

The ceremony was followed by the inauguration of an art exhibition. Moreover, music and stories of heroes of Pakistan were also told during the event.

Consul General Abrar Hashmi congratulated Pakistan on its Independence Day. Moreover, he also celebrated the 75 years of bilateral relations of Pakistan with the US.

In concluding his message, he invited all Pakistanis to put their full strength into helping Pakistan develop to new heights.
