Islamabad, 16 February 2022 (TDI): World Health Organisation Pakistan took to its official Twitter account to share the news that Pakistan has successfully administered two hundred million Covid-19 vaccine doses.
The organization’s official account expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s sitting government. Felicitations were extended on this great achievement.
The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination, Faisal Sultan also shared the news on his account.
Additionally, it is pertinent to mention that the Ministry of National Health Services, Pakistan, has been keeping a check on the administered doses of vaccines as well. The latest update was, that till now 203.1 million doses have been administered.

The Ministry of National Health Services also keeps a record of dose administration for the last twenty-four hours, separately. The latest update regarding the number of doses administered in the last twenty-four hours stated that 23.3 lakh doses have been administered. Not only that, but the same Ministry also presents daily updates on the coronavirus cases.

Since pandemic is still prevalent the cases are regularly checked. Consequently, the data is regularly monitored and updated. Precisely the number of tests conducted, the number of people who are tested positive for the virus, the calculated positivity ratio, the resultant fatalities, masses on critical care, and active cases are updated and displayed on the official account.
It is relevant to mention here that since the outbreak of the pandemic ‘Covid-19’ and vaccine arrival, the country and concerned authorities have worked for the vaccination of the masses.
Vaccination centers were established in multiple parts of the country. Measures such as blocking the sim cards etc. were also taken to ensure that no one is left unvaccinated.
For double doses, the concerned authorities themselves reminded the people via message alerts that it was time to get the second dose. No doubt such policies and steps have ensured maximum people getting vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus.
