Pakistan assists WHO to deliver humanitarian supplies into Afghanistan

Kabul, 28 August 2021 (TDI): The international community and residents were concerned following the Taliban takeover. A terrorist strike occurred a few days ago at Kabul Airport. The terrorist strike on Kabul Airport exacerbated the already unstable situation. Many people were injured and killed in the Kabul incident. The World Health Organization (WHO) is actively working in Afghanistan for both injured and those who have given their lives.

Pakistan has provided assistance to WHO. It supported the efforts of WHO who work tirelessly for Afghan people. The medical supplies are running low and Kabul airport has been damaged by a terrorist strike. Pakistan is assisting the World Health Organization in its efforts to transport humanitarian supplies into Afghanistan.

According to the reports, the Pakistan first flight carrying humanitarian supplies is expected to depart in a few days towards Mazar-i-Sharif.
