Karachi, 05 August 2021 (TDI): Pakistan and Germany mark their seventy years of friendship as they celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. For the celebration of this occasion, the German naval ship, Frigate Bayern, and Pakistani naval ship, Zulfiqar set sail towards each other’s country.
Zulfiqar reached and anchored on the shores of Hamburg. While in Karachi, German Ambassador to Pakistan, Bernhard Schlagheck welcomed Frigate Bayern. The German Ambassador to Pakistan showed his gratitude to the Pakistan Navy as well as the country and expressed happiness in welcoming the Frigate Bayern at Karachi. The German Ambassador remarked that it is a great promise of friendship and cooperation between the countries. With that, the German Ambassador also honored the way the bilateral, cordial, and friendly relations were celebrated.
