Discussing the significance of the Gwadar Port, Vice Admiral Nawaz expressed his optimism about its potential once fully operational. He noted that the port’s strategic location makes it an ideal hub for transshipment and seaborne trade, with immense economic opportunities for Pakistan in the near future.

The Vice Admiral also underscored the need for more advanced shipbuilding capabilities. He acknowledged the current limitations of the Karachi Shipyard, which was built years ago, and pointed out that modern shipyards globally are far more advanced.
