Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, today met with the Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Tuesday.
Both dignitaries held substantive discussions on a broad range of bilateral issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on evolving regional and international developments, according to an official statement of the ministry.
The talks reflected Islamabad and Beijing’s intent to sustain momentum in strategic dialogue and high-level exchanges across sectors. Minister Dar emphasized the continued importance of deepening multifaceted partnership between the two countries.

He highlighted that consistent high-level interaction remains a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy, particularly as global challenges and regional dynamics evolve.
Ambassador Jiang echoed this sentiment, reaffirming the strategic significance of China–Pakistan relations, which he described as increasingly prominent in the context of shared interests and regional stability.
Their dialogue covered diplomatic, economic, and geopolitical issues, reflecting the holistic nature of the bilateral relationship.
