Oman’s Foreign Minister discusses cooperation with Turkish counterpart

Muscat, 28 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Mevlut Cavusoglu.

The meeting took place through via video conference on the sidelines of the meetings of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The counterparts discussed bilateral economic collaboration and accentuated the need for investment cooperation. Regional and international developments were also discussed between the two. In addition to that, issues of Climate Change, Covid-19 Pandemic, and sustainable development were also deliberated upon, in the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by the Sultanate’s ambassador to the Republic of Turkey, Dr. Qassim bin Muhammad Al-Salihi.
