Netherlands Lifted Travel Restrictions From Rwanda

Kigali, 1 October 2021 (TDI): The government of  Netherlands has lifted all kinds of travel restrictions from persons traveling to and from the Republic of Rwanda following the impressive work of the Ministry of Health of the Republic Rwanda to combat the effect of Covid-19 in the country.

The government of The Netherlands has moved Rwanda to the “Yellow List,” making the Republic of Rwanda the only African nation on the Yellow List of the government of the Netherlands. The Yellow list indicates the countries with low risk of Covid-19, allowing their people to travel easily.

The announcement came after witnessing impressive efforts of the Ministry of Health Rwanda in reducing the Covid-19 cases by promoting mass vaccinations programs, painting good results.

Shifting Rwanda to yellow list countries will enhance bilateral relations between the Republic of Rwanda and The Netherlands.
