June 16, 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of the Netherlands to Pakistan Wouter Plomp met the Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi and exchanged views on maritime cooperation. Ambassador Wouter and Federal Minister Ali Haider Zaidi took to Twitter and shared a video of their meeting with each other. Matters of bilateral cooperation in the maritime sector were discussed in the meeting. They agreed to strengthen their ties and interest in the meeting. Ambassador Wouter Plomp was also pleased to meet the federal minister and happy with the constructive discussion.
Federal Minister is spearheading Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision on building the Blue Economy at the Ministry. Pakistan is building its strength by having extensive coastal resources. While on the other hand blue economy has remained the hallmark of the Dutch economy and the business community in the Netherlands is thriving for centuries. The Netherlands is a global leader in delivering innovative solutions to the international markets on the blue economy.
