Netanyahu, Regional Allies Press Trump to Delay Iran Military Action

Washington (TDI): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reportedly urged President Donald Trump to delay any potential US military strike on Iran, highlighting rising concerns in the region over a possible wider conflict.

The conversation came on the same day Trump suggested publicly that Iran had eased its internal crackdown and stopped executions, citing “very important sources on the other side.” Washington observers saw this as a sign the president was hesitant about immediate military action.

Netanyahu’s intervention comes as several key Arab countries, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Egypt have also privately advised the US against launching an attack, according to media reports.

Officials warned that striking Iran could destabilize the region, disrupt energy supplies, and trigger Iranian retaliation beyond US targets. At the same time, these countries have reportedly urged Tehran not to respond violently if a strike occurs.
