Rabat, 28 September 2022 (TDI): Foreign Minister of Morocco, Nasser Bourita, received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to Morroco, Namory Traore, on Wednesday in Rabat.

Mamadou Namory Traoré is the Minister of Public Employees, Governance, and Administrative and Political Reforms of Mali since 24 April 2012. In October 2021, he retired from the army.
In the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Morocco, Namory Traore presented figured copies of his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guinea to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Morocco- Guinea Relations
The foreign relations of Guinea, including those with its West African neighbours, have improved steadily since 1985. Morocco and Guinea are very close partners. Moreover, they coordinate their stances on all continental, regional, and international issues.
In late April the capital of Guinea, Conakry, hosted the second Guinea-South Africa Business Forum. Prior to that, President Alpha Condé, visited Morocco accompanied by 30 prominent Guinean businesspeople to attend the ninth Morocco International Agriculture Show.
Following that, the visit of King Mohammed VI lead to the signing of signed the Eight Bilateral Cooperation Agreements in 2017, during which 21 agreements.
The agreements are related to the fields such as a convention on the upgrading of the city of Conakry, and a framework cooperation agreement on the implementation of projects for the aggregation of maize production in the Republic of Guinea Conakry.
Moreover, an agreement on the creation of a cadastral system, a cooperation agreement on the agricultural sector that provides for carrying out a project of hydro-agricultural development on an area between 200 and 300 ha.
In addition, the agreement relating to the project of liquid sanitation of the city of Conakry, a memorandum of understanding on technical assistance, and a cooperation agreement relating to the project of liquid sanitation of the city of Conakry.
Moreover, the memorandum of understanding for the supply of 100,000 tons of fertilizers to the Republic of Guinea.
