Warsaw, 10 August 2021 (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland congratulated the Secretary General of ASEAN Dato Lim Jock Hoi on its 54th ASEAN day. He also expressed his best wishes to all those who worked on developing better relations of Poland and the EU with the Association of Southeast Asian nations.
August 08 is marked as one of the historic days when Southeast Asian countries combined to form a platform in 1967 on the general principles of cooperation and non-interference. The purpose of ASEAN is to promote economic growth, social progress, cultural development, and peace and stability in the region.
