New York, 21 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, held a meeting with Edgar Rinkevich, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
The meeting was conducted via video conference and was held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly session. Bilateral collaborations and the means to boost them was the key feature of the engagement between the two.
During the video conference, both sides discussed the formulation of a framework to serve the mutual interests of the two countries. Furthermore, the counterparts pledged support to one another in efforts to restore peace and stability in the world.
The diplomatic relations between Oman and Latvia are based on the platform of cooperation and mutual interest.
