Islamabad, 26 January 2023 (TDI): A two-day global conference titled ‘Majlis 2023’ hosted by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) will begin on January 28.

The conference will be held in the Federal Capital and will be attended by over 85 successful businesspeople from over 16 countries.

During a press conference today, Hasan Rizvi, President of the EO Islamabad Chapter, stated that Majlis is a global conference attended by EO members from over 16 countries and 10 chapters.

He expressed that this is the first time the Federal Capital will host this conference, which has been planned as a series of curated learning activities, cultural experiences, and outdoor excursions spread throughout Islamabad.

“The purpose of this conference is to showcase Pakistan’s beauty, and immense economic and cultural diversity to the larger EO community,” he added.

According to him, EO is a global, peer-to-peer network of successful entrepreneurs with over 16,500 members active in 60 countries. Members of EO, he claims, develop and grow through meaningful relationships founded on trust and respect.

In this vein, he enunciated that “We expand that growth and share it with partners by aligning with world-class organizations that share similar values.”

According to EO Islamabad’s Learning Chair and President-Elect, Taimur Adil, ‘Majlis 2023’ will be attended by corporate leaders from Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, the United Kingdom (UK), Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Tanzania, Bahrain, Portugal, and others.

He went on to share that an exclusive panel of guest speakers, including Senator Mushahid Hussain, Irfan Wahab, Kamran Rizvi, Aamir Ibrahim, Tania Aidrus, Aziz Bolani, Taimur Jhagra, and Tahseen Sayed, would speak at the event.

According to Arham Khalid, who is the Marketing and Communications Chair at EO Islamabad, the conference aims to improve understanding of Pakistan through member engagement and structured interactions with senior government and corporate leaders.

According to Hatim Tabani, Engagement Chair of EO Islamabad, EO is a global volunteer organization founded in 1987, and the EO Islamabad Chapter, founded in 2018, is one of the region’s fastest-growing chapters.

He went on to say that EO has four core values: trust and respect, thinking big and being bold, a thirst for learning, and growing together.
