Beirut, 30 September 2021 (TDI): Abdullah Bu Habib, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants received Claus Kramer, the Head of the Middle East Department at the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, for a meeting.
The Foreign Minister on behalf of his government presented the vision of Lebanon. The meeting covered various important aspects, touching upon the impending elections as well. Bu Habib underscored his government’s resolve to ensure parliamentary elections. He welcomed the role of observers from the international agencies to guarantee transparency of the election process. On the contrary, the German representatives discussed the possibility of collaboration between the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and their agency. Moreover, mutual projects also came under discussion.
The German Agency for International Cooperation and the delegation of the German Giz Bank for Reconstruction also attended the meeting.
