Lebanese Foreign Minister receives Australian Ambassador

Beirut, 28 September 2021 (TDI): Abdullah Bouhabib, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants held a meeting with Rebecca Grindlay, the Australian Ambassador to Lebanon.

The Australian Ambassador met with the Lebanese Foreign Minister to congratulate him. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries. The situation of the Lebanese community in Australia was also discussed in the meeting. Bou Habib expressed his country’s commitment to bolster bilateral relations. He also appreciated Australia’s efforts to aid Lebanon.

Lebanon and Australia have had cordial bilateral ties which are reinforced by the strong people-to-people connection. Many Lebanese have made a home in Australia, strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
