Islamabad, 28 August 2021 (TDI): Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the President of D. Watson chain of stores and pharmacies Zafar Bakhtawari in Islamabad. Executive Director of D. Watson store Ahsan Bakhtawari was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on the enhancement of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan in multisector. Both sides stressed exploring export opportunities between the two countries. With that, parties highlighted the need for more cooperation in the trade sector in order to foster strong relationships between the countries. The President and Executive Director of D.Watson also expressed their interest in cooperation with Kyrgyz exporters. They expressed that they are looking forward to working with them and are hopeful to buy Kyrgyz-manufactured products for their stores.
Ambassador Ulanbek actively engages with the science, cultural and business circles of Pakistan. In line with that, this meeting served in reinforcing brotherly ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
