KSrelief Distributes Emergency Aid to Flood Victims in KP

Peshawar (TDI): The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has launched a large-scale relief operation to assist families devastated by floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Emergency aid is being delivered across the most affected districts, including Swat, Buner, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Upper and Lower Dir, Swabi, and other flood-hit areas.

As part of the initiative, KSrelief has allocated 10,000 shelter kits and 10,000 food packages.

Each shelter kit includes a tent, solar panels with LED lights, two thermal blankets, plastic mats, kitchen sets, water coolers, and antibacterial soap.

The food packages, weighing 95 kilograms each, contain wheat flour, sugar, lentils, and cooking oil, designed to address the urgent nutritional needs of displaced families.

The distribution is being carried out in close coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department of KP (RR&SD), as well as KSrelief’s local partners, the Hayat Foundation and the Peace and Development Organization.

This joint mechanism is aimed at ensuring transparent and timely delivery of aid to vulnerable communities.

The initiative underscores Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment, through KSrelief, to support the people of Pakistan in times of crisis by extending immediate and life-saving humanitarian assistance.
