Khurram Rathore Met with AKDN Representative to Canada

Ottawa, 15 September 2021 (TDI): On Monday, Pakistan High Commissioner Designate to Canada, Ameer Khurram Rathore, met with Dr. Mahmoud Eboo, the Representative of the Ismaili Imamat and Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) in Canada. The Representatives discussed areas of common interest in Canada and abroad.

Dr. Mahmoud Eboo has been working as the AKDN Representative to Canada since 2014. Earlier, he also served as the President of the Aga Khan Council for Australia, New Zealand, and the United States of America. The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) is a group of international development agencies aimed at enhancing the welfare sector by improving the socio-economic conditions of people living in the developing world, particularly in Asia and Africa. Their initiatives predominantly revolve around education, specific research, and cultural programs.
