Islamabad (TDI): Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin, has stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan in the legal field during a meeting with the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan Haroon Ur Rashed and senior members of the association.

During the meeting, Ambassador Kistafin briefed participants on ongoing efforts to expand bilateral relations and highlighted the importance of closer collaboration between the legal communities of both countries.

He proposed enhanced engagement through exchanges of experience and greater understanding of each other’s legal systems.

Haroon Ur Rashed welcomed the ambassador’s proposals and underlined the value of building institutional links between lawyers and legal professionals from Pakistan and Kazakhstan.

At the conclusion of the discussions, both sides agreed to organise reciprocal delegation visits in 2026 and to begin preparing the necessary documentation for future cooperation agreements.
