Islamabad, 19 May 2023 (TDI): Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Kistafin, met with Minister of Coordinator for Commerce and Industry Pakistan, Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, and Muhammad Asif Noor, Chairman Global Business Alliance, at the Prime Minister Secretariat to discuss both countries’ extraordinary strategic collaboration.
During the discussion, Envoy Kistafin and Premier Coordinator Khan underlined their enthusiasm for strengthening bilateral ties and exploring new channels of collaboration in various sectors. The conversations centered on the shared aim to deepen economic cooperation between the two countries through trade, investment, and other methods.
Diplomat Kistafin appreciated Kazakhstan and Pakistan’s warm and cordial relationship, noting shared principles, cultural affinities, and historical links that have established a practical framework for collaboration. He highlighted his nation’s strong desire to use these resemblances to benefit both countries.
Ambassador Kistafin underlined the potential for increased trade, investment, and collaboration between the two countries, focusing on mutually beneficial initiatives that can contribute to the prosperity of both nations.
Premier Coordinator Khan emphasized the significance of the two countries’ strategic alliance. He noted that Pakistan appreciates its relationship with Kazakhstan and is dedicated to further enhancing bilateral relations.
Representatives from both countries explored ways to increase bilateral trade and investment in various sectors. They decided to examine measures to boost trade volumes and facilitate business interactions through joint projects, trade delegations, and business forums. They also underscored fostering intercultural harmony, tourism, and human interactions.

Ambassador Kistafin and Premier Coordinator Khan analyzed the possibility of improved transit connectivity. The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue the discussions and work toward specific initiatives to strengthen bilateral relations further. The officials expressed confidence that the ongoing collaboration will help realize common objectives and benefit the citizens of both countries.
