Nur-Sultan, 27 August 2021 (TDI): Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, met with Andreas Aebi, President of the Swiss National Council.
The Kazakh Foreign Minister praised Switzerland for its continued cooperation on the issues of bilateral interests. Both parties discussed ways to further improve Kazakhstan-Switzerland ties.
Switzerland is currently the third-largest investor in Kazakhstan’s economy. Over the course of the country’s 30 years of independence, Switzerland has invested around $30 billion in the Kazakh economy. In Kazakhstan, around 400 companies supported by Swiss financing are active.
