Kazakh Ambassador meets various Officials in Pakistan

Islamabad, 7 October 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin held meetings with various officials in Pakistan.

Kazakh Ambassador called on the Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training of Pakistan, Shafqat Mahmood. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on further ways of developing cooperation between Educational Institutions. The parties agreed to strengthen cooperation in the field of education.

Kazakh Ambassador also visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He met with newly elected President, Chaudhry Nadeem Rauf. During the meeting, the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic field were discussed. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to exchange information on an ongoing basis. They agreed to take an active part in the business events of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.

The Ambassador also had a meeting with the Federal Minister for Railways, Muhammad Azam Khan Swati. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation between the countries in the field of railways. Ambassador briefed Minister about the current state of bilateral cooperation and priority areas. Swati, for his part, supported the points voiced by Ambassador, emphasizing Islamabad’s interest in intensifying cooperation with Kazakhstan.
