New York, 3 February 2022 (TDI): Pakistan Mission to the United Nations, New York will be organizing a virtual event to commemorate “Kashmir Solidarity Day”. The purpose is to show support and respect to the masses of Kashmir.

The virtual event is scheduled for tomorrow that is February 4, 2022. The timings would be 11:00 am to 12:15 pm EST. For registration purposes, a form and email address have also been given.

The registration form is available on the official Twitter account of the Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the United Nations, New York. Furthermore, the email address is mentioned on the official poster. It is Pakpress2@gmail.com. Zoom is the digital platform that will be used for conducting the webinar.

Breakdown of the Programme/Webinar

Initially, the welcome address will be given by Ambassador Munir Akram, the Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations.

Right after the remarks of Munir Akram, an interactive and engaging segment will be held. Lastly, there would be a constructive discussion among the panelists.

Eminent dignitaries that will be present

There is a list of panelists that will grace the webinar with their presence. They are listed in the below paragraphs. Doctor Imtiaz Khan, who is a professor at George Washington University would attend the event.

Doctor Farhan Mujahid Chak. He is Secretary-General of Kashmir Civitas. Additionally, there will be Doctor Rabia Akhtar as well. She is the Director of the Center for Security, Strategy, and Policy Research. The Center is at the University of Lahore.

Muzammil Ayyub Thakur, the President of the World Kashmir Freedom Movement abbreviated as WKFM will also be among the panelists.

Victoria Schofield, a British author, writer, biographer, and historian is also a distinguished panelist. Last but not least Shaista Safi, a Kashmir youth representative will additionally be there on behalf of the Kashmiris.

In a nutshell, a total of six panelists will be attending the webinar. It is relevant to mention that the entire session will be live-streamed on YouTube.
