Islamabad, 5 February 2022 (TDI): Kashmir Solidarity Day was remembered in Pakistan and across the globe by various Pakistani entities on the fifth of February 2022.
Events in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, Pakistan
The Foreign Office of Pakistan earlier today organized a “Solidarity Walk”. The purpose was to show support to the Kashmiris. President of Pakistan, Doctor Arif Alvi joined the walk. Additionally, a memento was presented to him.
The memento basically pays tribute to heroes of the 75 years-long struggle. Apart from the walk, the “Photo Exhibition” was organized. Pakistan National Heritage Museum, Lok Virsa was the venue.
The Event at Pakistan High Commission Bangladesh
In Dhaka, the Kashmir Day event was organized by Pakistan High Commission. Several people attended the solidarity event, ranging from the Pakistani diaspora, academics, to journalists were present.
The program started off with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Afterward, a documentary highlighting the importance of the day was shown to the audience. After this, messages of the President, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, and Minister for Kashmir Affairs of Pakistan were shared.
Talking specifically about the messages from President and Prime Minister, they paid tribute to Kashmir’s masses. Foreign Minister extended his support as well.
Lastly, High Commissioner, Ambassador Imran Ahmed Siddiqui emphasized the statements given by Pakistani leadership. He gave a surety of Pakistan’s constant support.

In London, a “Kashmir Day” Webinar was organized. Participants ranged from lords, Members of Parliament, scholars, civil society members, academics, and British people.

High Commission paid gratitude to the attendees for showing their concern and raising voices against Indian atrocities.
Pakistan High Commission Canada
On the entity’s official Twitter account an official statement was uploaded. Pakistan will provide assistance, be it political, moral, or diplomatic in nature to the Kashmiris, the statement said.
Pakistan High Commission Belarus
Pakistani Ambassador to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan addressed the audience on the occasion of Kashmir Day. A photo exhibition, video documentary, and lastly a briefing was given.
Sajjad Haider Khan during the briefing shed light on the three dimensions of the dispute. Namely human rights, legal, peace, and security.
Pakistan Embassy Baghdad, Iraq
Ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq, Ahmed Amjad Ali addressed and shared his remarks during the event. First of all, he underscored the significance of the day.

He reiterated the remarks of Pakistani leadership. Lastly, Fatiha was recited for the martyrs who fought bravely and lost their lives.
