Islamabad, 26 January 2022 (TDI): The Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Ambassador Nong Rong expressed his joy through his official Twitter account on the award being granted to the Karot Power Company.
The entity has been awarded because of the Karot Hydropower Project under the umbrella of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It has been rewarded with the NEPRA CSR Stalwart Award for its resolute commitment to the development of the community.
He further stated that by mutual contribution, comprehensive consultation as well as shared advantages, CPEC is a win-win collaboration.

China and Pakistan; All-weather Strategic Partners
China and Pakistan are all-weather strategic partners and share a contiguous border as well as a shared approach towards the global development and evolving international situation.
The two countries collaborate in a wide array of fields which include economy, infrastructure development, agriculture, technology, defense, security, people-to-people exchanges as well as education.
China is supporting Pakistan in many ventures. CPEC is the flagship project of China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and is a true manifestation of the close collaboration between the two partner countries.
China will recently hold the Winter Olympics in Beijing from 4th February to 10th February. Athletes from all across the world are participating in the winter sports event. So far, the event is expected to be a resounding success despite the diplomatic boycott from some countries.
Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan will be attending the sports event. Many other leaders will also be attending the event like the eminent President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
