Baghdad, 16 October 2021 (TDI): The Ambassador of Iraq to Austria, Bakr Fattah, attended the 60th Anniversary of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
The meeting took place at the historic building of the municipality of the Austrian capital. Many political and economic leaders, including the Mayor of Vienna were also present in the meeting. The Ambassador met the Governor of Vienna and Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Party, Michael Ludwig.
The meeting was to strengthen the relations between the two countries. The purpose of the official tour was to discuss bilateral ties with the Foreign Minister to Austria were also discussed.
The Mayor of Vienna covered the issues of historical relations between Iraq and Austria in all fields, such as economic, cultural, and political. The Ambassador also met the Secretary-General of OPEC, Muhammad Sanusi Barkindo. He also delightedly invited them for the next conference of 2022 in Baghdad.
