Tehran, 3 November 2021 (TDI): Iranian Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh condemned Kabul’s terrorist attack on the principal military hospital. It killed at least 25 people.
Khatibzadeh condemned Kabul’s terrorist attack on a 400-bed hospital, mentioning that Iran deplores any act of terror. He also expressed his sympathies for the families of the victims and prayed for the recovery of the injured.
Furthermore, at least 25 people were killed and more than 50 injured by the two back-to-back powerful multiple explosions. The hospital is located in Kabul’s Wazir Akbar Khan area. The attack included explosions and indiscriminate gunfire. Hence, it led to chaos inside and outside the location.
Although authorities have not pointed out any responsibility, according to Kabul-based Bakhtar News Agency, a number of Daesh terrorists had entered the hospital and clashed with security forces. The same hospital was attacked in 2017, killing 30 people.
Since the end of the US Military Mission in Kabul, there have been a series of terrorist attacks across Afghanistan in recent weeks, mostly claimed by the Daesh terrorist group.
