Tehran, Iran: July 07, 2021- (TDI): The Intra Afghan Dialogue Summit has started today. This dialogue is being hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran and in this dialogue summit, various representatives of the Afghan government and the political delegation of the Taliban attended this Intra Afghan Dialogue Summit.
The speech of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif inaugurated the session. He said in his speech that Afghans must take a tough decision for the future of their nation while pointing to the US failure in Afghanistan after 20 years of invasion. The situation has been further worsening as the US is withdrawing its forces from the country.
Furthermore, he also warned that the ongoing conflict between the Afghan government and Taliban will have adverse consequences for Afghanistan and said that the best solution is through the Intra Afghan negotiation and dialogue which can resolve the conflict. The FM of Iran said that Iran will continue to support Afghanistan and the Intra Afghan Dialogue.
