Islamabad, 14 November 2022 (TDI): International Education Week (IEW) 2022 is to begin from November 14-18, to celebrate the impact of international education. The benefits of international education and exchanges will be celebrated this week.

Country Director for Public Affairs at US Embassy Islamabad, Will Ostick began this officially in Pakistan on November 14. In the opening remarks, he said, “US mission in Pakistan sponsors one of the largest exchange programs in the world”.

As approximately 800 Pakistanis are sent to the US every year on a wide range of academic and professional exchanges.

These exchanges foster people-to-people connections and promote mutual understanding between the people of both states. This is as such one of the foundations of strong partnerships that have been built between the US and Pakistan.
