ISLAMABAD, (TDI): The global tour for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy officially began in Islamabad on Saturday, marking the start of an exciting journey for the prestigious silverware.
The trophy’s journey commenced at the iconic Faisal Mosque and made its way to the Pakistan Monument in the capital, with cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar accompanying it.
Following the unveiling ceremony at the Monument, the trophy will be taken to Daman-e-Koh for the next stage of its tour.

As part of its global journey, the Champions Trophy will travel to all eight participating nations, offering fans unique and memorable experiences along the way. The tour will highlight the event’s new visual identity, engaging global audiences with dynamic and colourful activities.
After its time in Islamabad, the trophy will visit other landmark cities and cricket venues across Pakistan, including Karachi, Abbottabad, and Taxila.

After completing Pakistan leg on November 25, it will then depart for an extensive international tour, showcasing the rich and diverse cultures of the countries competing in the prestigious tournament.
