Islamabad (TDI): The federal government on Tuesday increased the price of petrol by Re0.56 and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs2.96 per litre.
The new petrol and diesel prices will be Rs252.66, and Rs258.34 per litre, respectively, and will come into effect on January 1, 2025.

In the previous fortnight’s review, the government had kept the petrol price unchanged and reduced HSD by Rs3.05 per litre for the next fifteen days.
It was earlier reported that the government could make slight adjustments to petrol and diesel prices fo the next fortnight.
