Islamabad (TDI): Germany has announced to launch a new system for registration from next week for Pakistani students that will not only expedite the application process but will help increasing the number of study visa.
German Ambassador to Pakistan Alfred Grannas posted on X that the Embassy has constantly increased the number of study visa over the past years.
“To increase the number further, we are introducing a new registration system,” the German ambassador said.
He said that the new system will go live next week adding that in the meantime, registrations for study visa are closed.

All fast track students who have already registered will receive appointments in January and February, he added. Everyone else can use the new system from next week.

Pakistani students who had applied to study visa for Germany had been complaining for issues in appointments and delay in issuing of visa.

Germany is an aspiring destination for many Pakistani students, and in 2023-24, there were around 9,873 Pakistani students studying in Germany.
Pakistan and Germany enjoys cordial relations with ties ion various fields including education. Germany is also supporting Pakistani students with scholarships including DAAD.
