Pakistan-Romania Bilateral Relations
Since diplomatic relations between Romania and Pakistan were established in 1964, the ties between the two countries have grown stronger. Romania’s support for Pakistan’s membership in the UN Security Council in 2011 is an example of this.
In comparison to the political dimension, Pakistan and Romania’s economic ties are less than ideal and need to be improved upon.
However, both countries’ cultural ties are strong. About 200 Pakistani students are currently studying in Romania to become engineers, doctors, IT experts, and businessmen and women.
