New York, 24 September 2021 (TDI): Vincent Biruta, Rwanda’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a meeting with Achim Steiner, the United Nations Development Program’s Administrator, where the parties painted the picture of shared interest between Rwanda and UNDP.
In the friendly meeting, the main focus of both parties remained on digital transformation and innovation. The Foreign Minister and the Administrator of UNDP discussed ways and means that digital transformation can help in socio-economic recovery.
The parties also shed light on the promotion of the Digital Transformation of Rwanda and its benefits for an inclusive, green, and resilient socio-economic recovery from the pandemic.
The conference ended on good terms with commitments to work for the digital transformation of the Republic of Rwanda with mutual cooperation of UNDP.
