Foreign Minister of Kuwait arrives at the Paris Conference

Paris, 13 November 2021 (TDI): Kuwait was represented in the Paris International Conference on Libya by Foreign Minister Ahmed Nasser Mohammed Al-Sabah. He further said that he had the pleasure of representing Kuwait at the Conference. The international community reaffirmed its support for Libya’s Presidential Council. It is also support for the National Unity Government. The event helps their anticipated efforts to fulfill pending milestones in the security and political sectors. In that way, it ensures the strengthening of Libya’s security and stability.

Between the countries, Algeria, Chad, China, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Kuwait, Malta, Morocco, the Netherlands, Niger, Qatar, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia, and Turkey, were present. Likewise, officials from the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and United States of America attended. Concerning regional organizations, there were also representatives from the African Union, European Union, and the League of Arab States. The Group of Five Executive Secretariat for the Sahel also had an special participation.
