Beijing, 24 November 2021 (TDI): Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) has helped to strengthen the China-Africa relations by expanding cooperation.
FOCAC is a China-African that works to strengthen the relations between China and Africa. It has helped to expand their cooperation in several fields. FOCAC also helped to promote people-to-people contacts between the two states. It promoted cultural exchanges between the two sides.

FOCAC is a part of the Chinese long-term policy of making a global community based on shared values with shared goals. Therefore, China is helping the African Continent in its development. China has also launched its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) which is working for the social and economic development of the African states. It will help them to build infrastructure. China will establish industries and power plants in the African states to facilitate them from the BRI project.
FOCAC has helped African states in their development
The Director-General of the Department of the African Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Wu Peng emphasized the cooperation between China and Africa in his tweet. He tweeted quoting the Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian that since the launching of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, China has developed more than 10, 000 km railway lines in the African continent. It has also helped the African nations to build more than 10, 000 km of highway. China also created more than 4.5 million jobs in Africa in its efforts to end the crisis of unemployment.
China has been an important partner of the African states. It is committed to enhancing the growth and development of African partners. It has consistently helped them in the pandemic by providing them vaccines and other medical supplies to defeat the Coronavirus pandemic. The anti-pandemic cooperation has further strengthened the bilateral relations by increasing mutual trust between the two sides.
Senegal is going to host this year’s FOCAC Summit in Dakar, it’s Capital city. It aims to further strengthen the cooperation between the two partners. The Summit will help understand the future policies of the two sides in formulating their relations. It will also emphasize the BRI project and anti-pandemic cooperation. Forum on China-Africa Cooperation is a landmark initiative between the states and it will help the forthcoming generations of the two sides.
