FM Vietnam bids farewell to UN Coordinator Kamal Malhotra

Hanoi, 31 August 2021 (TDI): The Vietnamese Minister for Foreign Affairs on Tuesday bid farewell to the UN Resident Coordinator to Vietnam.

The UN Coordinator took office in 2019 in Vietnam. He has supported UN projects in the country and has led UN Country Team to work successfully with the government on the UN framework on sustainable development goals. The joint effort of the government and UN Country Team has resulted in Vietnam’s successful response to the pandemic.

The Minister thanked Mr. Kamal Malhotra for his support in the fight against COVID-19 and for sustainable development in the country.
