Islamabad, 8 September 2021 (TDI): The Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi held a telephonic conversation with his Poland counterpart, Zbigniew Rau.
During their talks, the two Foreign Ministers discussed developments going on in Afghanistan. Shah briefed about Pakistan’s take on Afghanistan’s stability, peace, and giving economic assistance to Afghanis.
Shah Mahmood also stressed on EU’s policy and its important role in this matter.
He then stated that the International community can prevent the humanitarian crisis going in Afghanistan through conducting proper dialogue, providing economic relief, and bringing stability to the region.
The Foreign Ministers also talked about bilateral relations and ways to promote more corporations between Poland and Pakistan. Both officials look forward to enhancing the bilateral partnership.
For his part, Foreign Minister Poland appreciated Pakistan’s role in providing assistance to Afghanis and successfully conducting the evacuating process in Afghanistan.
