Brussels, 12 October 2021 (TDI): Vice President of the European Union Commission, Josep Borell Fontelles, called an emergency meeting with Development Ministers. To explore how they might work together as Team Europe to help Afghan people as the situation in Afghanistan worsens. The Ministers discussed ways to improve the European Union’s support of Afghans, especially in terms of basic services and social resilience.
