Quetta, 27 October 2021 (TDI): Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) receives relief items from the European Union (EU) delegation for Pakistan to distribute them amongst the areas of Balochistan which are affected by the earthquake.
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit the southern and western parts of Balochistan on 7th October 2021 late at night at 03:00 am.
According to the EU in Pakistan and PRCS, the support package includes shelter and essentials for life and the relief package distributed among 4500 affectees of this earthquake.

The European Union supports on humanitarian grounds and through this aid program, a huge number of the population in Asian Pacific countries benefits through different relief projects.
This time the European Union provides assistance to the most earthquake-affected district of Harnai. The EU assistance package includes emergency shelter materials, household items, the funding is part of European Union aid.
More than 21 people were reported killed and almost 300 were found injured. The damages were also reported in Quetta and Sibi.
